Step-by-Step Guide: Managing Pages in WordPress

1. Access Pages Section (0:17)

Once logged into your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the left-hand margin. Click on “Pages.” This will take you to the main Pages screen, where you can see a list of all existing pages on your website.

2. Add a New Page (0:21)

From the “Pages” section, click “Add New” to create a brand new page. You’ll then enter a title for your new page in the designated field, and then proceed to add your desired content into the main page content area. You can also optionally select a parent page or assign a specific template to the page if your theme supports it. When ready, click “Publish” to make your page live.

3. View All Pages (0:48)

To view a comprehensive list of all pages on your WordPress website, simply click “All Pages” from the “Pages” menu in the left margin. From this list, you can click to view any page live on your website and see what it looks like to your visitors.

4. Delete a Page (1:04)

To remove a page from your website, locate the page in the “All Pages” list. Hover your mouse over the page title, and a “Bin” or “Trash” link will appear. Clicking this link will send the page to the trash, effectively deleting it from your live website.

That’s it! You now have a clear understanding of how to manage pages in WordPress, giving you complete control over your website’s static content and overall structure.
